The capital of taste

A young learned expert in gastronomy, writing for a national daily quoted Senigallia as "a capital among italian restaurants ".  A compliment well deserved , since, due to its worthy chefs, the town often appears in the classifications of the top Italian restaurants. And of the hundred or so local eating houses, at least forty appear in the most important tourist guides. The secret of so much success, is also due to the catering college, of acclaimed fame and prestige, and to the possibilities offered to every type of customer.
From pizzeria to bistrot, from family run restaurants on the beach to the more formal hotel tables, from the cheerful wine bars to the traditional “osteria”, you are spoilt for choice.
Here the gourmet will find superb delicacies, for families there are tasty inexpensive menus, the fish is fresh and inviting, and for those who do not like fish, there is always the good country fare to taste.
Senigallia chefs can count on a constant supply of fresh materials, and they respect the local traditions skilfully combining modern interpretations.
