Rotonda a Mare
It is the symbol of Senigallia and of tourist Marche, pole of attraction of events and moments, unique space in its kind in Italy. Clean lines from timeless fascination, surprising whiteness against the blue of the sky and the sea, thirtyish roundness, the aesthetic impact of the Rotonda is matchless in every season and from any perspective. Laid on the velvet sand, washed by the long waves of the Adriatic Sea, the magnificent structure built in the thirties started again glowing in 2006 after a careful restoration conciliating the original retro taste with the modern look, which plays with transparencies and lightness. Since then, it has been welcoming audience and initiatives in any period of the year. In winter and spring music and voices for the theatre and concert season are found here, as well as conferences, gala dinners and meetings In particular then, in July and August it opens its doors and becomes one of the beating hearts of the cultural and tourist summer agenda. Music, art, theatre, dance and wine and food gourmet venue have their home there. Even a walk along the footway on the sand up to the entrance, a tour through its internal and external spaces and then a climb up on the roof are an unforgettable experience. But staying there and having a look at the horizon or just living some events can even be more unforgettable. Its shapes go well with dance, with swing dance parties between 1950’s style glamour and entertainment in winter and summer, with the bands recalling the image of the “Rotonda sul Mare”.

Also this year the proposals that are going to animate the velvet beach by inviting you to live the night in the magnificent and fascinating structure on the sea, are divided into thematic cycles: RAM in notes, RAM in jazz notes, RAM meetings, RAM books, RAM in dance, RAM Summer jamboree dance, RAM in taste.

The breeze of the fresh wind in the summer heat, the scent of the sea, the wide horizon ranging over the Adriatic Sea and possibly the sunset lights. Is there a better backdrop to taste wine or delicious snacks, a good espresso, an aperitif with friends or with the beloved one? “Rotonda Caffé” is back again, the exceptional meeting place that will welcome the guests of the Rotonda a Mare for the whole summer season,
every day, except on Mondays, from July 28th to August 29th from 6:00 pm to midnight
. An extra touch of taste and class to the already surprising beauty of the Rotonda. The menu available fits the context and is therefore likewise extraordinary. Who else more than the the multi awarded great chef who has been nominated by the town council “Ambassador of the Rotonda a Mare” in the world, admired by the international gourmets, could have this honour? Mauro Uliassi will take care of exclusively choosing the delicacies in the price list, which from the afternoon up to the night will welcome the audience at the Rotonda Caffè, by making this occasion even more special.
