There are many reasons to take a holiday in Senigallia, even in Autumn. Just a short distance from the Velvet Beach, the splendid Verdicchio hills await you, home to one of the most prided Italian white wines. It is the chance to get acquainted with the little castle towns of the river Esino valley and the many wine-cellars that during this period are busy with the traditional grape harvest. There are also many wine festivals in the area: the busiest and most popular are the ones organised at Cupramontana and Arcevia, but – in Autumn – every weekend there is a town celebrating.
On the other hand, if you are a red wine lover, a holiday in Senigallia is your chance to discover Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. A limited production indigenous D.O.C. red wine, which has won over the greatest connoisseurs. Only a few minutes drive from Senigallia you can find the “Lacrima” wine-cellars, and it is also a good reason to visit the walled towns of Morro d’Alba, Belvedere Ostrense, and Ostra.

Situated in the old town centre of Jesi, it is the most complete showcase of local wine production.
