, the scent of the velvet beach seashore mingles with freshly baked bread from open air ovens. From early morning to evening, you can enjoy
“Pane Nostrum”, the International Bread Fair
which for the last eleven years, livens up the heart of Senigallia, between the beautiful Piazza del Duca and the fortress Rocca Roveresca. There are open air ovens and many activities devoted to the art of bread-baking. The bakers in action come from different geographical and traditional backgrounds turning out not only typical local bread (Spelt bread, Organic bread and Pane del Duca), but also English, French and German bread and more, from the cottage floured loaf to the seeded bloomer, from laugenbrezel to baguettes and croissants and other delights. In this way, “Pane Nostrum” contributes to raising awareness about the different bread-making cultures of the world, though common staple food, rich in its diversity. “Pane Nostrum” is an event which regards sustainability issues in the area and includes the collaboration of Assipan, Confcommercio, Confederazione italiana agricoltori, Slow Food, Aic (Associazione Italian Celiac Association) and Ais (Italian Sommelier Association).

How to participate
